Popular Post DaveClark
Dennis Adeniran may have got the plaudits, and yes, he absolutely deserved all what has come his way. My MOM however was Palmer - the guy who crossed for the first goal, and who had been showing and showing and showing well before then - busting a lung time after time. Great goal for Adeniran and he showed much much more besides that, but even given everything, I still think Palmer should have edged it. So much so, I will be gutted if Palmer is outed from the team next game out, he was the epitome of desire today, he wanted it, he owned it. Well done Liam Palmer - one of your best performances.

areNOTwhatTHEYseem
Definitely one of Palmer's best performances - he was very strong throughout. No way was he better than Adeniran, though.

One got the goal though, another only the assist - it's hard when you don't get the plaudits for what you do.
Brommers
Yes Palmer was excellent but don't think you can credit him for the cross that lead to Adeniran's goal. It was a poor cross that was easily headed away by their central defender.

No that was quite excellent. He played the percentage game, I'm not sure he knew who was there but he put it right in the correct place - and you cannot argue with that.
Mosborough-owl
Yeah thought palmer and Byers were very good. unsure of bakinson. Thought he did well at times but also made some daft decisions.

I swear down, I will absolutely take both of them performing like that for us next time out, and no mistake.

Palmer got neither.
CircleSeven
Palmer had an excellent game. But both the goal and assist from Dennis were exceptional. Most improved player was Brown though. Looked very steady tonight.
4evaowl
A very competent team performance where everybody contributed. Some real positives like James and Bakinson on their first starts, Iorfa looking sound again, and much better contributions from Brown and Sow to previous outings. Owly Mowly
Adeniran has to be MOM but Liam Palmer is definitely getting better with age. He plays well whatever position he plays
S72 Owl
Palmer was excellent, but I think I could have marked them 2 on Sunderland’s left.
