Fingers crossed its a strain (3-4 weeks) rather than a full on tear (3-4 months). grade 1 tends to be couple of weeks doesn’t it ? Grade 2 maybe 4-6 weeks and grade 3 8-12 weeks
OxonOwl
I was quite close and it looked like something went as he stretched to play the ball. He held the back of his thigh (Quad?) Probably not as bad as a hamstring.

WorrallOwl17
Thought he looked steady, he's a strong lad that's for sure. He did get caught out once or twice like the wrong side but he looks a strong lad and good on the ball. That natural left footed player in a back 3 is priceless, Icky struggled there against Portsmouth and Storey always used to struggle when played there, Palmer is probably our best option there if Famewo is out injured. Looks like Iorfa is down the pecking order already if bringing Hunt on at rwb and moving Palmer to lcb was his choice over just bringing Iorfa straight into the back 3 Edited August 8, 2022 by WorrallOwl17
Bluesteel.
He’s like the Akpo Sodje of defenders. So good in the first game of the season even his body can’t handle it

Caught wrong side on a couple of occasions plus was blowing out of his ass before the injury. Fully agree. Got wrong side of grigg at least twice and I thought he looked average.
DB2002
Some mixed opinions, so I went back and did the stats on his 25 minutes 24 Involvements in the game 6 Simple passes 1 Mid range pass (100%) 2 Long Balls forward (50%) 2 Clean ups of loose MKD balls 1 Shepherd ball out for GK 2 Defensive headers 1 Won tackle Bit more concerning was : 4 Lost tackles - 2 of which created chances/half chance for MKD 4 Balls hit in behind him - 2 of which created chance/half chance for MKD 1 Mix up with Johnson while playing a one two - which created chance/half chance for MKD All of MKD's 1st half chances other than one speculative shot late in the half, came down the Wednesday left and all while Famewo was on the pitch. 3

It's all a bit too much analysis for 25 minutes of a debut.
Jack of Clubs
Problem will be that you’re always going to plug gaps in between Johnson and the LCB as he’s more attack minded. On the right it’s less of an issue because Hunt or Palmer have both played RB. Any opposing manager is going to focus on trying to exploit that which is the reason we need a proper LCB if Famewo is out long term.
