Kopparberg
It’s a bit strange to say, but when I was young, so was Cesc Fabregas. I think at 16 I saw him look incredible against Man U (at Highbury/evening kick off) Classic Spanish midfielder.

legendaryswan
George Best. Always seemed to play well at hillsborough too. He was just out there on his own, pure entertainer with gifted feet and a quick football brain. He once nutmegged Johan Cruyff twice in a matter of minutes, pure genius, but flawed, as many great ones are sadly.

The Wall
Loved that Football Italia era Baggio Signori Vialli Batistuta Inzaghi Err.. Atlilio Lombardo Then back to James Richardson sipping an espresso, reading Gazetta de la Sport Seemed like a different world Also liked Zvonomir Boban, mainly based on a story about him battering a load of coppers on the pitch back in Croatia, that was almost certainly bullsh*t
CalmJimmers
There was a time when I wanted to be a keeper, mainly because of Pressman and Srnicek for us. But there were some keepers I loved when I was a kid. They just seemed like giants back then. Peter Schmeichel Oliver Khan David Seaman Jose Chilavert - blew my mind as a kid that a keeper could take free kicks and penalties, even if I didn't watch him live too much!
