Popular Post dfoster
I'll admit i am a big advocate of giving moore time. That said, convince me there is someone out there who a) would take us on (mid table L1 under a transfer embargo with totally unrealistic fan expectations) and b) would be better It's not enough to just 'change the manager' as a knee jerk to the disappointment we all feel. There has to be something constructive behind change. So, let's hear the candidates ...

Tom22709
There’s plenty of managers out there who could turn us around, don’t ask who cos I don’t know, the same as the Brentford fans didn’t know Frank would be the one, or Wolves didn’t know Nuno would be and so on and so on. Eventually one will work, it has to 1

airborne_rat_of_s6
Sooner have Jos "am I not the King" L back. Clueless. How many times have we conceded in the last few minutes of a game already this season.

Eventually one will work, it has to It's not just about the manager! Frank was one of a series of managers (Warburton, Smith) that fit a style of play Brentford developed over a number of years. Nuno was brought in with a load of high quality Portuguese youngsters that cost a fortune. When are people going to realise just changing a manager isn't enough. You need a style of play and the right players and coaches brought in to match. Chansiri hasn't got a clue. He will allow Moore to build a squad with the aim of playing 4231 out from the back and then replace him with a long ball merchant who wants a target man that we don't have. 17 2
Popular Post sherlyegg
We've made some bad choices over the past few years...but one thing they all have in common is dire boring football. Which makes it a whole lot worse.

Besides, that’s not really a consideration. The squad is built now, we don’t need to do anymore business all season. It just needs someone to come in, go back to basics and get results. Just like Sturrock in 04/05. We don’t even need to think long term as all likelihood is they’ll leave in a couple of years anyway. Just someone to get us up this season. There are quite a few managers who could manage that with this squad

How about every time we lose, sometimes even just when we concede, many of us want to change the manager? Anyway, who you bringing in to replace Moore?
Buck Rogers
Roy Keane. Bully our way out of this stinking league. Said it in elsewhere but with Keane on the touchline, that penalty gets awarded for the shove on Patterson. 7

There has to be something constructive behind change. So, let's hear the candidates ... I can't name anyone. I don't even know who'd come here, for a start. But I know the type of manager we need, if not his name. Someone who knows how to make his own group of players function, and someone who has the nous to react to and negate what the opposing manager does. Moore is incapable of either, based on what we've witnessed. And it doesn't even have to be someone who's "on the up". Dave Jones for instance may not have been young, hungry and called Kyle or Connor, but he came in and organized his players and outwitted opponents within a couple of games. And you don't have to be able to name a replacement to know that things aren't working under the incumbent. There isn't anything to suggest since Moore has been here that he knows what he's doing. He isn't even capable of coherently expressing his thoughts in his interviews. If he's like that in the dressing room, then there's little wonder that the players are at a loss on the pitch. You give a manager more time if you believe he'll come good, but IMO Moore won't and we're throwing away yet another season by delaying the inevitable. 9 1
Jack of Clubs
He needs to nail down a starting 11 for starters and stick with it rather than constant changes as that can’t be helping anyone. As for replacements, I think he’ll at least get another couple of months to get the players firing. Who knows who would be available as and when he loses his job. yeadonowl
Could literally get anyone at this stage to do a better job We are 10 games into the season and the manager has no idea what his best team or even his best formation is It is getting to look like he’s picking the names out of a hat every game.
