The fact it's from an EFL Fund is also an issue for me

The fact it’s from an EFL fund is THE issue,  no sign of any money from the owner for day to day running costs

Writing on the wall for Admin surely

Exactly this.

For me it is concrete proof chansiri cannot pay the wages.

Begs a load of other questions though, like why is the EFL allowing it to carry on

Nobody will sign the accounts off while we’re essentially trading insolvently ?

Haven't the last 4 months proven that if the reports are anything to go by?

Why are the EFL handing out their funds to clubs that are not financially viable?

How many times has Chansiri told us that Paxo is just 'one adviser amongst many' and has no formal position at the club?

And yet here he is, 'taking a step back' from essentially running our recruitment.

Chansiri literally just says whatever he feels will get people off his back at any given moment.

I'm thinking that we're in the eye of the storm.

It looks like we're taking future income to stay afloat.

Which is our only meaningful revenue from what I can see.

Unless Chansiri resumes his cash injections we're finished.

We've no other meaningful revenue.

A cynic might suggest that started a long time ago

*Club1867 anyone?*

Yeah.. I omitted that and the multi year tickets because he was paying all the bills at the time...so in fairness I put it down to a FFP fiddle.

But yes.....

Others might have heard it but the story is that DC is selling 'one of his businesses' for a lot of money and once this done he will be cash rich again.

I believe that this is why players haven't gone down the route of handing in notice.

Don't shoot the messenger, I'll believe it when i see it too...

Reading the comments about this being EFL money rather than Chansiri/ the club, anyone know how this works?

And I mean KNOW, not just some wild guess.

Is this money due to the club, that the club has used to pay the wages.

Is this money from the EFL that the EFL has used to pay the wages.

Is it some other sort of loan/ payment from the EFL.

Once again we are getting snippets from journalists and NO information from the club.

Thank you for the info mate as always

Personally I don't want a chairman that has to sell his other businesses to cover the dramatic blunders he inflcts on our football club

I'd rather Sheffield Wednesday be the 'business' that he sells

Which probably explains why the accounts havnt been released and we remain under an umbongo.

Reading Nixon's Twitter suggests it is from a fund that all EFL clubs are entitled to and get each month. He suggests our club have chosen to use this for wages this time.

Quite how he knows this is anyone's guess, can't be that many within the club that are privy to that kind of information in terms of what the source of paying wages to players is.

Chansiri has been front loading income for years with the multi year season tickets. Now he has zero I come from them because this seasons are basically credit mires from last season.
