Why is he such a bad manager in your opinion?

His record suggests otherwise.

Who would you have appointed?

1 win in the last 10 games he has managed

Weren't pulis getting abuse on here for a similar record

He was given financial backing by the Doncaster board and still failing

Love to hear how Moore is the one to rebuild next summer if he has no guarantee of money

Where were they in the table when he left?

Didn't Doncaster sell two of their best players in January.

He had a great record with them until the last few games before departing.

What’s his win rate over his managerial career?

Doncaster were no way expected to be challenging for the top 6 this season. They had a rocky patch before he came to us, probably linked to the impending move. We had lost 4 in a row before he took over, the performances have shown good signs of improvement and 2 of the results he has had with us can be laid directly on individual errors rather than tactics.

I'll ask again, who would you have appointed.

I just find it bewildering that anyone could take up against a manager so early, particularly a young up and coming one who has done pretty well for himself up to now.

Right so had a check when you said financially backed. I can't find reference to any transfer fees spent during his time there, and they ended up selling both of their best players in consecutive years - Marquise and Whiteman.

So do you know if they did spend money? If so, how much? Enough to offset the £3m received in transfers out?

Not only did they do that, after they sold all of their best players which meant McCann was keen to leave, Moore took over that stripped side and got them into a play off position which is quite stupendous really. Then they went and sold their best players again, hence he was keen to leave I guess.

I just don't get it.

None of us can know for sure whether Moore will be a success or not, but surely you give him an actual chance? This is going to be a very tough job for any manager and it will take time to sort this mess out.

Sticky trying to argue and pointing out he only started questioning the manager after 4 league games.

It's quite apparent he didn't want Moore in the first place and had made his mind up before the guy had even took a training session.

Bizarre attitude imo.

Well there you go.

Hard to keep churning out results when your is getting undercut by those above you.

And the team he assembled is doing ok again now. They haven’t dropped off.

Think this is a new low for Owlstalk, counting in that stat the games a manager has managed for a different club.

He’ll be ok here. First of all we don’t have any best players that anyone will be interested in and we dont sell family anyway.
