DC - ‘I always welcome anyone who can help us with revenue’...

Like the corporate box holders when he first arrived?

Like walk ups on match day.

Like selling merchandise.

Like helping other clubs revenue by letting your playing assets leave for nothing.

Like operating a transfer policy that does not turnover.

Like hapless customers or worse.

it’s just b.o.l.l.o.x.

Exactly. DC trying to talk about generating revenue

lol

You should be asking yourself how you got sucked into to taking anything Alonso said with any more than a pinch of salt.

What you on about? Didn’t get sucked into anything.

Two sides to every story. Perhaps you shouldn’t get sucked in to everything the chairman says?

Sounds to me like a colossal miscommunication. Another day at the circus.

Daft thing is, this could easily be avoided with a proper management structure at the club.

Some random bloke tells DC he can offer this and that and gullible DC laps it up.

When really the random guy should be pointed in the direction of the clubs MD, where he would told politely to narf orf.

So.......................out of the entire clusterf*** that is SWFC at the moment , this is the most pressing issue that warranted a comment from our chairman ?

FFS

Absolutely this.

Of all the problems it’s took someone that isn’t deemed ‘important’ by the chairman to stir him from his slumber.

Why anyone would have any respect for someone who ran his mouth on social media like Alonso did is beyond strange

Clearly no professionalism about him whatsoever and used social media to gain himself a bit of attention from a fanbase craving a story to support the conclusions we’ve all come to about the situation the clubs in

100% agree with the Chairman on this. Well done

Don’t know how you can draw any conclusions from what the chairman has said to be honest.

Just makes zero sense why you’d let a bloke who wasn’t ‘official’ represent the football club when speaking to other potential managers and players.

Very encouraging.

There were a lot of people all too willing to be taken in by Alonso & his spin. Most of this is a direct result of the disenchantment the Chansiri regime has caused. Some is people being thick, some is people having an axe to grind.

Whichever, it was all a little embarrassing.

How do you know the Chairman allowed him to?

Sounds to me like the Chairman welcomed some help with commercial. Seems like Eric the Fantasist took it upon himself to pursue other interests

Can hardly blame people.

Around the time he was talking to fans Chansiri said he was working for the club. If he’d said the were painting the Kop pink, Chansiri’s acknowledgment of him would add credibility to it. Just like it added credibility to anything else he said.
