Yes, subject to sensible wage with more linkage to time out on the pitch. He's consistently more effective than Joey as defensive midfielder & would release Luongo to play box to box with more freedom, another solid CB performer & has better passing ability than what we have, solid RB performer if we reverted to 4 at back, strong dressing room presence. Pulis would need to have words with BB though - reminding him of his new role further up the pitch as Sam/BB together in side tended to sit too deep.

Would’ve preferred us to have replaced him adequately in summer, but here we are... so it’s a yes from me, we’re in a scrap and we need leaders both on the pitch and in the dressing room.

He’s better than what we have in that position at the moment and he can also provide cover at centre half or right back.

As always, there’ll be question marks over his fitness and he hasn’t played in Cyprus for over a month

— fitness was always going to be an issue if we’re bringing a player in who’s either out of contract or not getting a game though — but if he’s fit and healthy, we know how good he can be

Hutch in the centre means Bannan further forward it's a no brainer and he can defend unlike a lot of the current team.

I make him captain too, more passion and pride than the rest.

Everyone was slagging Westwood off yet come back not fully fit, pulls of 3 or 4 great saves and gets us 3 points after 9 games without. He will be better option than the other 2, as Hutch will be a fitter and better option than Luongo and Pelupessy.

If we had millions to go and get players, look elsewhere but we don't because of years of club mismanagement, for what he will cost probably £10-15k a week he is the best free agent in that position.

You mean £7k per month?

Either way and whatever you think of him and his character, all Wednesday fans interested in the inner goings on of the last three years will want to hear his take (Jos, Monk, leaving, coming back). He obviously thinks it's a decent club if he wants to return. So all about managing personalities

Yes 100%

This could be our best chance for promotion.

Pulis is copying Monk, but doing it later in the season to make it stick. Bring back Hutch and Westwood when they come in, get us up to third, then they'll disappear into oblivion again. But this time round, we won't have time to drop like a stone once we get there.
