It wouldn’t have been pretty, it’d have been frustrating and I don’t think it’d have been by much but I do think he’d have kept us up. I’d have rather have given Monk the chance to build something that resembles moving forward, no matter how painful and slow that might be, than to do what we’re doing now. Pulis isn’t long term, and if he’s not long term then what’s the point? What’s the end goal? What’s chansiris master plan? I think we’re all in agreement that for whoever our manager is it’s a big job to turn us from the team we are now to a team challenging at the top. And it’s not going to happen this season either.
