Mrmason69
Zohore is currently injured. Under the owner, Wednesday have specialised in signing injured players and crocks With that in mind, signing an injured Zohore is a done deal. The wishes of the owners 11 year old son must be obeyed. No matter what.

FreshOwl
Please no if he’s injured. Can we sign some normal fit players please, you know, like every other club do
Dutch McLovin
He is injured and on a big wage and has the below scoring record: 2010–2012 Copenhagen 16(1) 2012–2015 Fiorentina 0(0) 2013–2014→ Brøndby IF (loan) 25(5) 2014→ IFK Göteborg (loan) 5(2) 2015–2016 OB 24(9) 2016 K.V. Kortrijk 0(0) 2016→ Cardiff City (loan) 12(2) 2016–2019 Cardiff City 84(22) 2019– West Bromwich Albion 15(3) We struggle for goals and although i believe he will add something he isnt prolific, we really need goals. Move on would be my choice.

WalthamOwl
Sounds like he is on big wages and we will have to pay a big chunk of said wages, injured or just coming back from injury so will be a way off match fit etc. I really hope we move on from him and manage to find someone else that can come in to the team straight away and make a difference.

I understand that our hands are tied. For example it would be much more prudent to go for Austin as he would get goals but i expect his wages are much higher. However what i would look for is someone who has goals in them. I would have looked abroad, that hasnt happened and now cant. Id look lower leagues id look in Prem under 23 squads. If Zohore was fit and cheap id say yes get him in and see if we can improve the goals ratio. But he is neither. Just think its not worth the reported hassle were putting into this. We would be better off going for Wickham again than Zohore. As he is again injured and on big wages but he DOES want to play for the club. Whilst the international market is widely accepted to be better value, you still broadly get what you pay for. For an outlay in the region of £500k (for argument's sake) getting a prolific forward in the right age range is enormously unlikely.

You would probably need to get three players in and one of them would turn out to be good the other two meh. I would still look elsewhere other than chasing someone who has so many obstacles as Zohore seems to have

Rev Owl
Tin hat on.... When Fletcher was being touted as coming to Hillsborough, he was said to be too old, too expensive, too injury prone and likely to have little impact for a high cost. It worked out ok in the end though. Could this be a similar situation?

Exactly Look at the signings we have made for the striking position... Windass, decent deal for the money and i think he is best as a striker but hes not really played there. Kachunga, one year contract and cheap a decent deal but hes not really a striker and doesnt score. Patterson, good deal, but not a proper striker. If you add Zohore to the list his attributes are good and he is a striker but he doesnt score. Where are the goals !?

Fletch had scored over 90 goals in over 300 games in the french league, PL and championship. 6 of those seasons were in the PL where he was virtually ever present
SallyCinnamon
Zohore would be a great signing at this level. Ability wise much better than anything we else have up front. Has quality. The rest of our forwards are just hardworking. We need someone with a bit about them. Foolish if you turn your nose up at Zohore.
