I’d start FF in a front 3 every day of the week. We should be putting faith in him to win us the game in his best position.

I probably agree with that lineup but the Forestieri one is the key point for me. His best position has to be on the left of a front three, and it’s a position we’ve hardly played him in certainly not in the last couple of years.

hes our most talented player, our most likely match-winner, he’s fully fit and we have a chance to play him in his best position week in week out. I’m desperate to see it happen .

Obujado kept giving the ball away today which surprised me as he was very good in the only other friendly I have seen at Lincoln.

He played at left back with Palmer right in that game and that is what I expected today.

Bullen must see it differently to Bruce

Is Fernando available for Reading? When do we hear back from the FA?

For me Bullen has us playing the system that would suit him best.

On today's showing I think Harris must have secured himself one of the attacking spots.

Full back position still the weakest link imo.

Will be fully exploited by opposition managers.

This is why we need a manager in asap.

Any injuries and we're gonna struggle.

I think we are pretty strong on right not good enough down left

I strongly suspect this will be what we line up with on Saturday.

Yes...Palmer or Moses can do a job there, but against better wingers they may well get exposed.

Tempted to go with palmer on the left, thought moses looked a bit ropey today. Mind you who do you go with at right back? Then.

Only choice might be fox and palmer. Unless thats just a bad day for moses.

You'd drop Fletcher ?!

I would. Reading are under a regime where they look to keep the ball a lot of sideways and backwards passing ala us under CC.

Playing with these two up front having a midfield of ball players and having attacking full backs means we they can have the ball but when we get it there is plenty of pace and guile to play on the counter attack. If this doesn’t work then there is the option of Fletcher and Rhodes from the bench with Harris to whip in the crosses. Plan A and Plan B.

Plus I still believe as I have for a while that our best front 2 would be these two.
