When the big wage players have gone and their wages are off the wage bill, does the high ticket prices therefore mean we'll be rolling in it or will we still be losing money? Once they have finally gone I think it would be logical to suggest the purse strings are able to be loosened somewhat. The reported money we are wasting week by week on this bunch is frightening. IF we stay up and get rid of Reach for anything above £10m, along with the money wasters leaving, it can almost be seen as a fresh start - hopefully

He has put in 10's of millions to do this so far. Possible the answer is that all that will happen is DC just reduces the amount he puts in quid pro quo That's my interpretation. I recall DC saying ticket money doesn't even cover back office expenses and is a set at a level allowing him to invest the maximum in view of FFP/P&S. If for arguments sake we paid £50 for a ticket, his investment could rise accordingly. We can have cheaper ticket prices but that will restrict the amount he can invest, the consequence wage bill needs to be reduced and players sold. Not a threat but explanation of financial consequences of lower ticket prices. Whatever you want to say about him, he's definitely put his money where his mouth is, whether that's been spent correctly is another argument but at least had a go and still willing to fund us. I'm a POTD fan so bear the brunt of high prices but would rather pay a little more to see that investment continued in what will be a pivotal year next year in rebuilding a car crash of a squad. Assuming we do have the end of season clear out we all hope for, these players will need replacing. If the replacements are any good we won’t be paying them 10 Bob a week. What do we think it will save us £250/£300 grand a week? Hire some quality scouts (Brentford ones) and spend wisely and we should be OK with FFP from then on. Morepork
Assuming the club realise these contracts are expiring (I take nothing for granted these days....) I am under the impression we’ve already been told we are still up sh!t street.

He is the root cause of all our issues, and until that is fixed, we will continue to regress. It's his swings in behavior from months of no communication and shrugging off questions/issues; to vindictive rants against the fan base, threats to ban ST holders, 80% increase in the price of membership at the very moment when you need to re-engage with part of your supporters.. The guy doesn't seem to know what PR is all about. He certainly doesn't see the fans as customers - almost as if we should bow and be grateful for his shear presence. In the end, it's his club, as hard as that is for some to hear. He'll be judged at the end of his reign.
matthefish2002
Dont think its been mentioned in this thread but a big reason the club is in trouble is not just making mistakes signing players but nit selling anyone either. Wanting to keep players because they are all 'family' is not way football works.

Think Chansiri doesnt understand footy fans and is baffled at times why he is getting stick. Think being mega rich been used to people being subservient all his life and cant handle people who are not towards him.
Stoop
Well Chansiri gambled with the 3 year season tickets so he’s probably already spent that on players that don’t play

MysticOwl
This is why we are pushing out Westwood and Hutchinson, because of the wages. Westwood's contract is up in January and Hutchinson has until 2020.
