torryowl Posted July 21, 2022 Share Posted July 21, 2022 havnt ever watched a game but seen snippets and it strikes me that the keepers are a bit suspect .....i know in cricket they play with a smaller ball as they have smaller hands so is it the same in football are do the use the same size ball as the men ....... Nope, the equipment, pitch sizes and rules are exactly the same as the men's game. I think the main difference these days is the depth of quality. The top 8-10 teams in the world are markedly better than the rest. As more and more countries have professional leagues the professional talent pool gets bigger and the overall quality continues to improve.
