Fox is utter gash and only thing he's good at is scoring own goals. Palmers isn't class but as we are skint is a decent option. He got hammered for Mansfield game yet everything I saw was decent and on Twitter he was one of few mentioned alot. Good block from Palmer. Some good crosses that nearly led to dave scoring. Palmer gets hammered for imaginary faults every time he plays. He is a reliable player, no world beater but can hold his own at this level. Palmer is a decent player, but I think people have watched Kieran Trippier this summer and have decided that if Palmer isn't of that standard then he can do one. Let's not start ripping our players to shreds before we have started the season , eh? . I'm no Palmer hater, I don't hate any Wednesday player, but I can list you Palmer's faults - and if you watch Wednesday, you'll know they aren't imaginary. Lets defenders run at him into dangerous positions rather than attempting to defender in before said player gets into the danger zone. Seems to show players on to their favoured foot, rather than weaker foot. Half-hearted attempts at blocking crosses. Cross/final ball pretty wasteful. Labours back when caught out of position. Can't defend balls aimed at his back post. Now, the lad is a Championship player and they all have their faults. But, if we have ambitions of being at the top end of the league table, then Palmer isn't of that standard as a first choice full back. If they are not up to standard but putting the effort in then the fault doesn't lie with the player but management / chairman for not bringing in better. If Fox and Palmer put the effort in we should support them. They play for our club at the end of the day. Whilever he is playing he will get my full support as they all do. He's no world beater, but has never been as bad as some have made out. He makes mistakes of course. They all do.
