We were talking with Bruce for a very long time before it was announced so presumably he needed to know he could change things. Looking forward to next season. I have to admit I wasn’t convinced he was right for us last season but certainly warmed to him! We’d ended the season well and I don’t mind admitting I thought a good pre season with Jos we would be ok. Sadly mistaken but is there any need for the moral high ground look at me I was right posts? Clearly clueless then and despite finding by accident a system that seemed to work those last few games in April and May he completely ditched it at Wigan. Playing Hutchinson as a number 10 and spending 90 minutes defending from the off against a newly promoted Wigan was the worst management I've ever seen. We didn't do anything positive even after going behind and clueless just sat in the dugout throughout. With a clearly superior team we managed to get on the scoresheet despite the tactics employed.
