Rotherham Owls keep the blue flag flying high.

Set off from Silverwood Miners Club in Dalton (Baggin) for all home games.  Doors open about 12:00 and set off around 14:00hrs. £7 for adults, nowt for kids.

Numerous drop off points on way home starting off at the top of Dropping Well Lane the last drop is at The Joker in Bramley/Wickersley.

A very friendly club, very welcoming to new fans.

But hang on they aren't bothered about us aren't they? Like that lad on twitter who wasn't bothered about us yet did 13 tweets in a row about us or Bushy on football heaven who while ringing in last season used the phrase "I'm not bothered at all about Wednesday but...." and then used all his airtime up talking about sh!t we supposedly were or at their civic reception last month where every fan they asked said "Watch out Wednesday" or "Can't wait to do the double over Wednesday".

Not bothered about us at all though.

i'll give 'em their due though, at least toytown fans aren't mesmerised by metalled roads, electric street lighting, glass windows, and wheelie bins full of all types of goodies, unlike them dings.

Same with all the other clubs in South Yorkshire, their existence is only relevant as long as they can be in envy of us.

It's just a symptom of being the biggest club in the area, Leeds and Villa get it as well.

I will say this about Rotherham folk though as they get bashed a lot on here.

I think in general they are more friendly and less stuck up than people from Sheffield who can sometimes come across as haughty and conceited.

That of course is a generalisation based on nothing more than personal anecdotes, others may feel different.

To be fair the fact Rotherham are in the Championship at all is quite something and they do over achieve. The game against them is just another game for me, But can see with the close proximity that they would like to target us and sure lots of wednesdayites have Miller fans they would like to beat. They are less annoying when they have a sensible manager and not Steve Evans or Ronnie Moore

When you get millers fans on their own they are fine, they understand the natural order of clubs in South yorkshire. Owls,  Blades, Barnsley then a long way back Miller's.  They understand they are a league 1 team at best and are enjoying their day in the sun. The problems occur when they are in a group or given a platform on the radio or social media , all of a sudden they get above themselves. civic reception, even the local paper was careful with the camera angles to avoid the empty spaces. They also see strength in numbers they cling on to the blades coat tails waiting for scraps, they think if they say something about us the blades will be their friends all very embarrassing, really need to grow up and stand on their own two feet.
