WAWAWUTO17
Has anyone noticed recently that the pitch is getting very cut up and not looking in a good state ? Haven't seen it this bad in a few years.

pride_of_the_road
Why would we want it perfect to allow Swansea to play their passing game?
Popular Post steveger
It's in way way better shape since Mr C saw it as a priority, i mean can you remember the state it was in when Old Tight arse Milan was ignoring it, was like a piece of waste ground, just needed a few shopping trolleys and a burnt out car in the middle somewhere...
Beholder
Think we should ask for the money back from the company that installed it. Threadbare.
steveger
Obviously the bare patches are where an ex head coach bunged the company a to miss a few patches and install it on his head instead....

hodgybysea
Err Staton,no pitch is in it's best shape in February, there are in their best shape early in the season, when, ironically they haven't been played on much.
Birley Owl 1867
It's not going to be fully lush at this time of year is it. We don't employ hundreds of groundsmen like the big teams do. Just another stick to beat the club with

Peake
Is it possible that we may have been training on it more than usual? Does seem strange that it's looking worse than the last couple of seasons.
Guest The Horse
Combination of factors. We've been training on it instead of the usual ones. Then we've had a lot of matches played in bad weather - snow, rain and in quick succession. Think it's used most days unlike most clubs who only use it on match days. East coast owl
looks like they have been training on it.. Jo’s said the weather has meant they couldn’t get on the training pitches.. compared to a Sunday league pitch. That’s a carpet!!!
