RobbieOwler
Like many of you, I've stuck by Carlos and with Leeds coming up and a shoddy reply to an embarrassing loss in the Steel City Derby, is there anyone half decent for the job who could rescue our season? The best indication I've used for finding a replacement manager is the odds for the next Birmingham manager from Skybet. Does anyone favour any of them? Could David Moyes do a job? Should we think out of the box or resort to our old manager recruitment style of dropping down the league? Another Scunthorpe manager like Graham Alexander or Nigel Atkins? A former owl pro like Nigel Pearson? My opinion, pretty uninspiring but what do I know? I'd hire that female manager from the French 2nd division. alanharper
Or maybe just see who applies. I see the same old names banded about on here but it's a big job at a club with every chance of promotion to the PL if managed correctly, no reason why it couldn't attract some big name interest. Nigel Adkins tho...
OwlofOliveGrove
I'd be ok with Pardew, McCarthy, Heckingbottom or Holloway. ...or CC with the style of football he played in his first season ideally.
ChinaOwl
Be great to give someone like Bergkamp a go (what's he up to these days?). I think he would be a half decent manager and play the type of game that I would like to watch.
RobbieOwler
Chocolate Pardew maybe, McCartney and Holloway would be foolish to give up what they have already and I wouldn't want another Barnsley manager after Wilson. What about Di Canio? People still love him here and with the rise of facism he'd gain a lot of new fans to the club

We are already playing the slowest form of Football in England, why do we need some one from Holland?.

One things for sure - with that guy's charisma and gravitas in the game, he would undoubtedly take the gloss straight off the "Wilder Effect". pazowl55
Think Karanka would jump at the chance to manage us.
Eaton_Swfc
Any from; Pardew Heckingbottom Holloway Dean Smith (love the way Brentford played against us and the young hungry squad he's assembled) Would be fine by me.
150 miles north
Frank De Boer is probably more realistic than Bergkamp at the moment (given his employment status) , but could we risk that after he struggled so badly at Crystal Palace? TheSlicer
Is Karanka that one that has the awesome relationship with rhodes? Non of them fill fill me with confidence. But neither does Carlos.

robswfc
Laudrup or De Boer would be interesting, play our kind of football and huge names that would certainly attract young talent

This minus McCarthy. However, Villareal have just sacked their manager who got them to the Champion League,Fran Escribá’s. I'd take this guy.
