Kinda dread these threads because more often than not it’s less rumour more FM18 shortlist......

No suggestions from me, suspect JL will already have a shortlist and some of those will be players he’s relied on previously and had success with.

Looking forward to seeing what direction he takes us in and crossing everything that we can land some quality players with character and work ethic.

Would Evans and Leonard have improved our midfield?

Not sure - probably at this moment, but not sure when we have everyone fit.

Hopefully someone who knows the players United have signed can shed some more light on it

Got to hand it to the Sheff United board and Wilder they get bargains from the lower leagues.

Wilder does the lower leagues well whilst we problem haven't a clue.

Maybe we would of been better with someone like Paul Hurst now we ant much to spend.

Reference Lee Evans, Wigan fans don’t appear to rate him too highly with many of them believing that he’s not championship standard.

“Decent player but a bit inconsistent, can either ping some great passes all game or every single pass hit an advertising hoarding, free kicks again are either brilliant or woeful and he can't take corners. 750k not worth it. If he was consistently good like Morsy then maybe more so”.

He'd fit right in here.

I don’t know Evans but Leonard drives things forward a bit more. Something very few of ours have the confidence to do, or had it coached out of them by CC.

No one has out coached our midfield players, they are past their sell by date and are frankly no longer up to scratch. Our squad is vastly over rated.

According to Karanka club are buying no one. This looks like agent speculation to me.

Aston Villa are reported to have made Leicester  City striker Ulloa their top loan target in a potential double swoop that also includes Daniel Amartey.

Villa are said to have monitored Ulloa for the past three transfer windows but are now ready to make a move, which is restricted to a loan due to the West Midland club’s issues with Financial Fair Play.

Nah, Wilson's a decent player but a bit lightweight and injury-prone it would seem. He was touted as quite the prospect a few seasons ago but his career has stalled somewhat. Blunts a good move for him considering their style of play.
