Fantastic on the ball - probably better than both Jones and Bannan, but they're pretty good. Huddlestone wouldn't bring the missing ingredient. Swiss Toni Posted July 14, 2017 Share Posted July 14, 2017 Huddlestone is a bit of a plodder. Yes he can spray a pass but I'd rather we had someone more dynamic. I remember when he first came on the scene for the England U21s and thought what a beast. At that age he was literally head and shoulders above everyone else. Rowett is trying to adopt a similar style. I think hed be great in the deeper Hutchinson role but unless we play Hutchinson at CB, both would expect to play every week. Rowett is a good manager and he seems to be making some useful signings with Wisdom and Davies already signed and them having money from selling Ince, Hughes and Christie.
