That's that then. Unsurprisingly really with Gestede going to Boro. Let's go all out for Tammy Abraham or someone similar. It's pace as well as goals we lack.

Its goals.

Joao is lightnening but can't score.

According to Nigel Spink and the local press in Brum, he's been at the Villa training ground this week.

Gustede has gone to Boro, Ayew is off (apparently), and Kodija is at the African nations cup.

Don't you go spoiling the dreams of the gullible & deluded who actually believed he was coming to us.

Tammy Abraham as pace, goals and unpredictability. He'd add something different alongside a fit again Hooper or Fletcher or Forestieri. We obviously lack goals and directness this season, we're still solid and hard to beat but have lost the ability to go at teams and to kill games off it seems. Someone like Abraham upfront or Sako on the wing could make a difference and at least give us something different and unpredictable.

Wasn't it said earlier in the season there is no recall clause with Abraham? Couldn't  try for him even if we wanted to. Bristol have him for the season.

No idea mate to be honest.

Just think him or someone like him who can add some pace, unpredictability and goals would be ideal and would give us something different.

That's why I'd take Sinclair on loan from Watford in a heartbeat.

Might be a good shout.

Ain't seen enough of him to judge him to be honest. But if he can give us some pace and goals, and get up to speed and fitness in time to make a difference, then he might be a decent option. A loan might be more likely as the players we need will only cost quite a lot especially in this window.

Bristol City had to outline a full, vetted development map to Chelsea just to get Tammy on loan.

Doubtful they'd upset that, esp. since he's been knocking them in for fun down there.

I can remember mentioning Tammy Abraham on here, long before his loan move to Bristol City. At that point he hadn't even nailed a place in Chelsea's reserve side. Can remember being impressed by his maturity in a Tottenham v Chelsea youth game, which I think the North London club won 5-4. Even so, it's unbelievable how quickly he's taken to championship football. At his age, to play every game, while carrying the attack, is pretty incredible

He gave our centre backs hell this season. He has the lot.

Lees and Loovens are quality though, and hopefully will have a plan to keep him in check later this month.

The best player away player I've seen at our ground all season, definitely has a big future in the game.
