Inspector Lestrade
Where has this info come from?? Considering we probably will earn a good bit in ticket sales, 2 million is not enough. We will be stuck in midtable at best if that is the case. It's a load of rubbish, nobody knows the budget apart from the "Committee". It could well be 2 Million but it also could be 200 Million. We will have more of an idea after the first 2 or 3 players are signed.

Did Watford or Bournemouth spend that to get them there?
parkerowl
Am sure many would be happy if our Strikers were Bent and Keane. I'd be really happy with that yeah

jonesy87shef
Heard so much made up stuff about our budget and seems far too many aren't being realistic one way or the other. Get a random figure in their head that they've either created or heard on here and have taken for gospel. It's great to speculate and have discussions either way but some are just adamant without any proof or a reliable source. As others have said not many will know the actual budget except for Chansiri and possibly the committee. Hopefully the budget will be massive, but we will have to wait and see. Also does ffp actually affect lots of things Chansiri has already invested in? I though youth investment and things such as stadium improvements, pitch etc didn't fall under ffp, yet lots keep saying we can't spend much as we have already invested money elsewhere. Anyone know the actual facts regarding this?
Guest Kagoshimaowl
We got rid of ELEVEN, mostly crap players. The news coming out of the club looks like we are in for only 6/7 players. There will be a MASSIVE improvement in the level of player but we may have a small squad.
Guest TommyTank
I know it's early days but the little snippets coming out of the club are a little different to what people on here are expecting. We are looking at the better players from the bottom 2 leagues and a few bargains from overseas. We might get lucky with a couple of them and they might become first team players. January was the first insight, Vermijl, Melo & Bus. Expect more of the same.

The Night-Owl
Derby County are lining up a £2m bid for Brentford’s Spanish sensation Jota. Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman has joined Brighton in the hunt for winger Jamie Ward, 29, who has been released by Derby. That Jota is a very classy and tidy player at this level. Players like him and McGugan are exactly what we need. I'd love it if we got those two. Not bothered about Jamie Ward, there are better and younger out of contract players available, such as Koby Arthur or James McClean. Though a compensation fee would have to be paid for Arthur.
