alanharper
Will he be getting the screen second hand from Darlington? That's what clubs light years ahead of us with game changing investment do.
RichieB
Love the guy already. His English is good to be honest, better than my Thai. Love how he says he's commited £1m for a new pitch like its nothing Dejphon is hopefully going to be a legend at this club. He's certainly means business. Love him
WalthamOwl
Be nice if we would have replays of goals scored on the big screen etc. 1 million seems a lot of money to spend on the pitch and fair play to him for wanting to do that. Bluesteel
Big improvements could be made to the West stand. Also that wall and all the turnstiles on penistone road need knocking down although they are probably grade 2 listed buildings now. Lick of paint here and there and we would genuinely have one of the most beautiful grounds in the country. Buildings don't just become listed. Someone has to apply for a listing via English heritage. Woodseats Owl
Does anyone know how much grass seed you can get for £1m ?
Bluesteel
The pitch and scoreboard are two "easy wins" and a great way to introduce himself. Provided its a sign of things to come in terms of investment in all areas then it's exciting times

Bluesteel
What a guy. The man is already showing some serious ambition. It's quite refreshing to hear how much he invests too in terms of buying the club, cost of the new pitch. Bye bye undisclosed fees. Nice for us, but costly for him during future negotiations
Corneliusreeve
The £1 million is for pitch, new drainage and undersoil heating, having to go down 20ft. The floods well and truly knackered it up both on top and underneath. 20 ft christ the water table cant be that deep?

parkerowl
Reckon we will need some of those artificial daylight rigs to make sure the pitch doesn't deteriorate so easily.I've got a pic of one of them on my phone bit won't let me post the pic. Jowl
"Oh by the way season tickets are going up £300 each" Seriously, delighted about the new pitch, hoping the screen is for revenue (and we can still have a retro shhhhhhhhhh) Chuffed for Kivo and even younger ones

marshy
What does £1m buy in terms of pitch improvement? Does anyone know? The latest all singing all dancing pitches that you see in the prem are the best part of a million quid. Put it this way, I think it will end up being the best surface we've had in years. I think they're part synthetic part grass.
