ReadingOwl
My wife and her family support Sheffield United, if that's what you mean? She's never supported a pig though. Not that I know of anyway.
Belfast Owl 2
No. Advantage of not living in Sheffield...
ReadingOwl
No. Advantage of not living in Sheffield... It's not a problem I assure you. It's a 'modern' thing. It's mostly made up rubbish for people who think they are pwoper nawty and think they live in Glasgow.

nevthelodgemoorowl
Wifes three sisters were all uncommitted Wednesdayites, All three took up with grunters. Fortunately only two casual blunts have resulted from these liasons. Whilst I on the other hand have produced 4 Owls and 7 grandowls.

LocomotiveOwlerton
My Dad's uncle (great uncle?) is an actual pig farmer. But no, doesn't support Sheffield United.
Belfast Owl 2
It's not a problem I assure you. It's a 'modern' thing. It's mostly made up rubbish for people who think they are pwoper nawty and think they live in Glasgow. I wasn't being serious. I would actually prefer to know more Pig fans as could have better rivalry/slagging with them. I've come across decent Blades when over in Sheffield and had a good laugh with them. Plus when we beat them or they lose I can't find one to gloat to Better than listening to fans of top 4 teams tbh
F. Spiksley
My wife's mum grew up in Jamaica (they are jamaican, strangely enough) and had a family pet pig which she used to ride upon its back as a small child. The pig was called 'Trusty' they were apparently the best of friends. Until one day... ... Pork shoulder and crackling was on the dinner table. Shame. I have mixed feelings when hearing the story, partly a sad tale of lost friendship but a fantastic outcome if you like a good roast dinner. Edited September 12, 2014 by F. Kalamunda
My uncles ashes are scattered in the kop end goal at SUFC. My dad was one of those Sheffield supporters who would go to see whoever was at home, but I've always been blue and white despite being brought up in Woodseats!
