Time for the sack?

Recommended Posts

Did you watch those 'winning' games? We were flippingawful. 3 points is 3 points but playing like we were, you WILL get found out, and low and behold, it's happening already. Absolutely dire.

And yes, we were still lucky not to go down, despite the winning run.

'Massive' winning run?

DId you go to Peterborough (could name more)? We were dog awful.

Guest Distraught!

There aren't many constraints.

We have a good squad. We should be doing better. Simple.

No, right!

There's no constraints.

The manager can build the squad that he wants.

OK.

We were comfortably beating Millwall in the first half and I think we are better than them, particularly as the home team.

Then we stop doing the things we were doing well and change to sit back.

Even if you don't think there is anyone out there to replace him, surely it is clear that his tactics at home need to change. Playing so negatively is hardly going to drive people through the turnstiles.

We had a winning hand today and blew it - not for the first time.

Ah the classic sarcy tone! Can't beat it.

There aren't many managers out there that 'can build the squad that they want'.

In fact, most managers in the Football League have to contend with tight budgets and shrewd purchases/loans.

Don't get me wrong, our squad isn't great, but it certainly isn't as bad as the performances may portray.

In my opinion, our poor perfromances have got more to do with preparation, tactics, morale etc... Much like I pointed out last season.

Out

Im not one to make rash decisions but I want him gone now.

The man's made about 25 signings since he's been here and only 4 have been any good (Kirkland, Gardner,Lita and maybe Helan. The rest have been average poor or go some cases expensive and disasterous ( Taylor, Mattock ,bothroyd).

Add the fact that he blames everyone but himself when it goes boobies up, plus his negative tactics and lack of plan b, makes me think its time for the builder to pack up his tools and flip off

Didn't I read somewhere that our wage budget is among the 3 or 4 lowest?

So in my mind we're likely to finish low down given an average manager.

I remember Milan saying our wage budget was about half way in the championship last season, and unless the four new additions are on stupid money it must be lower this time round

Excellent point Mr Keys...nor win matches!

Jones obviously has no answer

Utterly depressing times ( again) at S6.
