Ben Pringle "Pig Killer"

Recommended Posts

His delivery seemed to be the big difference, we miss someone like that since Marshall/Treacy.

He needs to work on the delivery of his jokes though.

not just his delivery, he hassles. Is a little bit dirty, probably should have been off really, but was good at disguising it.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Benjamin Philip "Ben" Pringle (born 27 May 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Rotherham United.

Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear,[1] Pringle started his career as a trainee with West Bromwich Albion, and later played for Newcastle Blue Star and Morpeth Town. He then joined Ilkeston Town.[2]

At Ilkeston he made a total of 54 competitive first team appearances,[3] scoring 6 goals.[4]

Whilst playing part-time with Ilkeston Ben gained the nickname 'Pig Killer' for his dedication to his day job as a butcher's boy at the Ilkeston Abbertoire and Goat Re-developmental Home. Ben would often turn up to training still wearing his work clothes and from there the name was spawned. Some of his friends also call him 'Crisp'.

Guest UpTheOwlsss

Just banter

He's a Treacy type winger

A sort of left mid who doesn't have blistering pace

But has a cracking shot and a good delivery

Ugly though

I really don't care. Good goal by him though and put some excellent crosses in. It was their big day, let the fans and players enjoy it.

On a side note, we were in Elliots prematch, service was slow as they had about 6 staff working. Bloke beside us in his Rovrum shirt says 'Can't you get anymore staff working tonight, it's our biggest game in 15 years' lol

Don't let them tell you it wasn't their cup final.
