I think ppl are letting their emotions get the better of them. I hated him during the game cos of his antics. But he was their best player and was at the heart of everything they did. He's still a bellend tho

Without him Blackburn would be in even worse trouble.

 

He was excellent in their 2nd half spell and caused us all sorts of problems dropping off into the space in front of Gardner and Llera.

 

More importantly, he was the only person from Blackburn doing ANY kind of talking at all. Their manager was silent. Most of their players were silent. Their bench was like a library.

 

They'll need that leadership over the next 5 games if they're to avoid relegation.

If injuries hadn't ruined his career, he would have been a top Premier League player and would have many more England caps too his name.

Was at the heart of everything they did that was good. Also led by example in everything they did that was bad. Diving, feigning injury, moaning at the ref, inspiring his team and making space.

Surprised at how fat he was, similar to Jason Scotland really. Gives me hope as a little tubby bugger.

They should be able to play 8 defenders behind Dunn and Rhodes and still stay up. Both looked quality today.

It's a shame that every other player they had were useless. I'd never even heard of anyone in their midfield other than Dunn - I can understand why having seen them.

The biggest tailface on the field yesterday by far was the ref. He must have blown for a dozen fouls (or fowls in Blackburn's case) against Wednesday when there was no contact between the players what-so-ever, and at least three of the occasions resulted in Wednesday players being needlessly booked.
