We'd Have Got Promoted If...

Recommended Posts

We had finished 5th and played the dog botherers at home first. We would have had a right go at them like we did against Brighton last year and taking a lead to Huddersfield they would never have broken us down. Neither team today had anything about them. Rubbish.

Next season will be our year, I've never felt more optimistic.

It's all water under the bridge.

We didn't finish 5th, we didn't beat Huddersfield, we lost.

Good luck to them. We just have to do better next year. Fine margins make the difference

the blame lies with the manager 100%.

Correct, just hope he gets it right this time, have my doubts but ime giving him my full support, need a couple of shrewd signings and a positive start or ile start to turn

In over 180 min against Huddersfield, we scored 1 goal,, had 3 shots on target, thats one shot on target every hour and won just 3 corners.

Last season Huddersfield finished 19th.

Brought in a coach who had no experiance of the Championship.

With a budget equal to that of Rotherhams he begged and borrowed players

from the EPL.

Next season Huddersfield will start in the EPL with an income of £200 million.

Our failure to beat Huddersfiel will see  us stuck in the Championship.,

Dispite spending millions last season.

Ofcourse some of us are not happy.

Tactical failure all season.  Only really began to roll once Hooper took over and established himself as the formation engine.

Just wish he could stay fit/injury free

we would of got to Wembley if Carlos didn't take our only outlet off, 5 minutes after he scored, still can't get my head around that decision

Fletcher has withdrawn from the Scotland squad because of an injury picked up in the semi final.

We would have got promoted if we had more points after 46 games than 22 of the other teams in the division or if we had beaten Huddersfield and then Reading. We didn't. Hopefully we can get more points after 46 games than 22 teams next season.

I am not a fan of Carlos and have criticised him on numerous occasions but let's be right here:-

we finished 4th - above Huddersfield.

we played Huddersfield 4 times and won 2 and drew 2.

We scored 4 goals against them and let in 1.

Extremely fine margins this year and we could just be easily come out on the right side of them as the wrong side.
