How many times did he fail to control the ball from a throwing? The ball just bounces off of him! Dreadful performance. Agree...apart from the assist I thought he was rubbish

His laying off and link up play is very hit and miss. I'm not sure he's really cut out for the lone striker role tbh.

Played well was unlucky with ref tonight who waved away several clear fouls on him. Paterson was great in ithe no 10 role in the 4-2-3-1 . Think some of the pieces may be starting to come into place

Both are going to run all day and cause havoc for defenders, put their bodies on the line, but neither have the quality on the ball in all round play! Paterson pulled one out again like he did last season, but that was the only moment of quality from either of them with the ball.

Odd how we all see things differently.

Im still in awe at the goal to be honest...that gives Paterson a pass this week. That miss from Gregory...not so much.

Apart from the great attempt from Paterson in first half ( when brown should have done better with follow up) or Gregory effort that keeper tipped onto the bar, or the neat flick/turn/shot from Paterson 2nd half, yes apart from those they did nothing

Anyway 15 points from the first 27 available isn’t too bad given we’ve conceded 3 penalties and had 6 of our first 9 games away from home. How skewed is that? It won’t stop some from wanting Monk back though Well said! Spot on UTO. Well done Wednesday.

Yep, wouldn't agree with that he gave possession away so many times first half, was good defending but his quality on ball was off tonight

If it shows up, vote Dunkley for me Phil will ya. Probably the only time he'll be in with a chance so I'm giving it him.

Kopparberg
It’s hard to work out on here (having not watched the game) if we played well or battled through it. I actually think we need a few more battling wins - despite all the ‘fancier’ types of players we have. 1
Costello 77
Carrying 3 points back to Hillsborough for the next game is so important. We showed a lot of resilience tonight.
