Chansiri hasn’t just gone for it and failed though has he. He has messed up so much more than that on and off the pitch.

When Mandaric left we were in a better position than when he started. A division higher in fact.

You can't thank someone for utter failure throughout his tenure.

We have achieved -  NOTHING

It's ironic that when the Glazers bought Man Utd there was outcry that they were looking to profit from it, run it as a business with ruthless efficiency, and trophies would be a lower priority.  Oh my word I wish that was going on at Wednesday. Despite there being no pro-rel here, the sports 'franchises' are generally run in a very organised and sensible fashion.

And ninth in the championship when he left.

We've spunked £350m (whatever) to become worse than Barnsley and Rotherham.

'but who would want a buy a football club (where you have to negotiate with Dephjon Chansiri) right now???'  😂

You dont. Luton fans bought after putting Hatters onto Admin.

Yes, and if the fans had been prepared to accept Colin then we might have been in a division still higher.

Had we gained promotion to the PL then perhaps Mandy would have stayed, or, failing that, a better calibre of buyer than Chansiri would have come in.

We dropped a clanger.

It's also worth reminding people that if DC said spent this sort of outrageous money, but instead of 100% of it had gone to the playing side of thing and instead "only" 50% of the losses we incurred went towards playing staff, and the other 50% went towards training and youth facilities

1. We wouldn't have broken FFP, because those costs don't count against it

2. We would almost certainly be in no worse position than we are now

3. We would almost certainly be seeing the benefits of having millions pumped into player development like that

If DC wanted to throw stupid money at it, he could have done so in a way that would have completely modernised this club. Would have been revolutionary for us.

The man doesn’t want to spend any more money ! He’s sat with his head in the sand fingers x that Thompson will keep us up? Hopefully if this is the case dc might have a buyer lined up pick his toys up and disappear back over the horizon!!! Probably what will happen is that we’ll go down still be in disarray as the new season kicks off Ipswich will have cook in charge storm the league with new investors and we’ll be sat watching in typical Wednesday manner saying the could have/ should have been us

Absolutely 100% we can all see this but the man in charge can't smell the coffee and Paixao still leads him by the nose. Blind leading the blind has never been better illustrated and we're perilously close to the cliff edge.

Big problem is that Chancer isn't some kind of multi billionaire. Think his total assets are around £600 million of which most of that includes his share of Fish Industries, and is therefore not available. He cannot afford to throw "stupid money" at us as he doesn't have it. I think he has totally overreached himself and has failed, making up spurious companies and wheeling and dealing like some latter day Arfur Daley or Del Boy. The sooner he's gone the better so we can start again with hopefully a football savvy wealthy owner taking over.

He's in cuckoo land if he thinks he's going to get anywhere near that.

Fasten you  seat belts.

thats the thing he is in cloud cookoo land and still would be wanting 200 million when at best he could now get would be 30 million . he wasted his money on idiotic decisions ,not the supporters or a future owner , he owns the debts , the value is what are the squad worth if they were all sold plus if we still actually own the ground and training ground thats it . its a bit like opening a large safe with 200 million in it and forgetting to lock it and all the money gets taken ,but chansiri as we know wont see it that way. he needs to show dignity and sell at a loss or if he dont then properly fund the club again and employ  proper football people. if he chooses to not employ a manager in the summer and chooses to not sign any players then the club will go straight down to league 2 mark my words.

I honestly don't get what people don't grasp?

£17.5million for Ipswich, probably a good deal for the buyer.

What would Chansiri want £100m+?

Its not that there aren't people not buying clubs, its that nobody would be stupid enough to pay what Chansiri wants!

Only saleable assets are Iorfa and Shaw. And one of them is off for 300k compo
