Writing off 100m though...

DC won't ever do that

At some stage he is going to have too or have a money pit draining him financially for years.

The only way he can recover a decent amount is to sell us as a premiership outfit and that is never going to happen unless he dips in his pockets for an awful lot more money. Sometimes you just have to take the hit and walk away.

Oh look - yet another club being bought/taken over at a time some fearmongering fans will run around shouting 'but who would want a buy a football club right now???' etc etc

exactly this. People coming out with we would be a lot worse if Chansiri left, no one will want us. Rubbish.

If I remember correctly, Lambert was boss at Wolves when they got taken over by their Portuguese agents and then replaced by Nuno.

What I’m thinking is,  get Lambert as boss here ASAP and make it third time lucky!

Or more likely another run we can end

Think it all turned very sour with Evans and the fans to be fair.

There were protests last season.

Maybe so, but it seems he still has the club close to heart enough to write off £100M of debt.

Do you expect that to happen if any offer was made for us?

Lambert incoming

lol

Don’t scoff, plenty on here were suggesting we hire him As far as the Ipswich job goes, they probably represent a better opportunity than we do currently They have a decent youth set up as well

Not at all. But very surprised by it. I know Ipswich fans have been thoroughly pissed off with Evans for a while. Evans seemed to dig his heels in and not invest anything. But seems he was looking for a buyer.

Fingers crossed the same will play out here.

It's a difficult role being a chairman. Ipswich were reluctant to part company with Mick McCarthy but did so under growing fan pressure - that resulted in their worst season in many a year and relegation to division 3.

We'll a lot of cloth cutting to do next season

Their squad is already better than the results Lambert is getting.

With Cook & a new striker, they will unfortunately, likely be above us

In a couple of years time close to 90 teams will be above us mi duck...we ara a laughing stock
