Still think they’ll have enough to stop up

Cant see QPR dropping either

QPR are really struggling but have decent forwards. Will probably just survive

Farce.

And before the ‘don’t trust a journo’ brigade come into force. Nixon is never wrong.

Fulham were that skint they had to sell one of their best players in Sone Aluko to Reading for £7.5m yet, according to Nixon they’d bid £13m for FF.

Nixon’s an embellished forum scanner that’s all. He’s very good at it tbf, but gets far, far more wrong than right.

The Chairman refused to sell him mate

Nixon never once reported Forestieri had gone to Fulham

The Cottagers hope making a quick offer will help them land the unsettled Italian - even though the Owls wants more

Chairman didn’t refuse to sell to Fulham, that was to Derby.

Why would Fulham sell their best attacking option for £7.5 and then bid £13 for a replacement?

If Nixon says something there’s usually behind it.

I think people fail to realize that just because something doesn’t end up happening, doesn’t mean he’s wrong.

But in all of that don’t forget how the media works - sometimes journalists post stories designed to fulfill a specific purpose (move away, new contract, more transfer funds, fanbase manipulation) in exchange for continued inside info

Where has Nixon said there that Forestieri signed for Fulham though?

Well, if we're going with Nixon never being wrong now, I suppose we should stop sniping at those who share his view of our chairman's finances...

You do this a lot, misquote posters, to suit you’re own posts.

Did I say he’d signed for Fulham?

I said “according to Nixon they’d bid £13m for FF.“

Whether the story is 100 percent accurate or not, the fact stuff like this keeps leaking out, points towards the club being a shambles from top to bottom.

Or, Chansiri's family have called a halt to rampant spending.

If we know that the agents have had his trousers down, so will they.

Channers may be slack, but there isn't any evidence that the rest of them are.

It's a pity we can't get shot of him and deal directly with them.

They'll probably back him (and Tone) sufficiently to cheat the drop, but thereafter they'll want further spending scrutinizing.

That's no bad thing, and in combo with Tone's footballing nous the future may well be much brighter.

The chairman himself has confirmed the Nixon story and confirmed that he refused to sell

Not sure why this is so confusing to you?

But did they make that bid at a time when they were rivalling us for promotion?

I can't remember.

But he didn’t because there was never a £13m bid. Nixon said there was but there wasn’t.

Again, like I asked you last time, why would Fulham sell their best attacking option for £7.5 and then bid £13 for a replacement?
