Exactly.

When we had a team full of quality and Carlos as manager we used to lose these sort of fixtures.

Under Monk we were losing to teams which had come up from the Third.

The series of fixtures we've been on could scarcely be tougher.

In a way, that's probably what will keep us up.

The reason being that we'd probably get similar results against these tough teams even with a strengthened squad.

But after strengthening it will make a big difference against the weaker teams to come.

So best get the tough fixtures out of the way now with the team in its weakened state.

Beat Bournemouth , who finished above Norwich in the premier last season , under monk a few weeks ago.

Our striker turned down a new contract and went to stoke. Our other striker the same and went to Cyprus.

Managers failure ?

Yes.

If they was uninspired by the manager of course they would leave. If Pulis was in charge back then, they would have signed without a doubt!

Everyone went absolutely ballistic with Jos and his negative tactics, I reckon if T-Rex Tony did it he'd be offered every excuse under the sun

Needs to be gone sharpish

There is a difference. Jos came in, in a season following two seasons where we were in for promotion and the team and squad was much stronger.

This season we have bought from the bargain basement and just need to survive. You do that buy winning a few home games and drawing the rest.

This is the reality we now find ourselves in and many of our fans need to realise this.

Surrendered possession. Surrendered the advantage we had worked so hard to gain. Surrendered 2 late goals (again). But you’re right, it was the refs fault.......

Both penalty shouts and Peluppesy's chance came after Windass went off injured...

Nothing much more to say.

No wins for Tony Pulis.  Less than a point a game.  He has less points in 5 games as Monk did in his last 2 games.

We have gone backwards badly.

We were on course to stay up under Monk.  We are on course to go down under Tony Pulis.

Are you honestly saying that Maybe no would have kept us up? Honestly?

Intent and style sadly do not equal wins.

Garry Monk - 3 wins from 11 this season

Tony Pulis - 0 wins from 5, and counting.

Come on. Monk came up against the Luton’s, Rotherham’s and Wycombe’s while Pulis has had to compete with the Norwich’, Swansea’s and Reading’s.

You’re kidding yourself if you cannot see more organization, commitment and better performances from individual players already. And remember that Monk had a year to produce those results and the chance to bring in players, while Pulis has only just joined us and can only pick from what he inherited.

Ridiculous comparison.

But people were slating Monk if he lost to top sides

He actually did better against top sides than Pulis has done

We have 9 points from 16 games. This squad is about 15th best in this league and 15th place is currently on 20 points from 16 games.

Therefore if we had 11 points more that would be par for the course. 6 of those got deducted. The other 5 should have come from Luton, Rotherham and Wycombe...  not the last 5 games. Kind of expected that you'll get 3 points from 5 games where 4 of them are vs the top 5 when you're a lower mid table team.

Judge Pulis after we've played Huddersfield, Barnsley, Forest, Derby, Coventry (twice), Wycombe, Boro and Blackburn. Thats the next 9 games.. if we're still in trouble after those games then yeah its probably fair to criticise

I know he has not had a run of games but Brown as been very disappointing. I hoped he would pull the strings in midfield, play through balls for people to run on to but his touch looks awful and sometimes he looks lacklustre.

Shoved up front as a sole striker for ten minutes isn't really a fair chance to judge him on

We're doing worse than under Monk in terms of points

Much much worse

You are judging him after 5 games.

We are not doing much much worse either. Monk got 12 points from 11 this season. Pulis has 3 from 5. I expect Pulis PPG to be better by Christmas, and if not as I said then questions need to be asked if it was the wrong appointment.
