Monk's going to take it one better and get us promoted this season albeit starting on a deficit, but he has the system, he's adapting the players and he's instilling that self-belief. Bump this end of the season Wilder is a freaking amazing man manager who's never been sacked from a managerial role. Monk hasn't yet managed to hold down one managerial post for 18-months. Inspector Lestrade Posted September 14, 2020 Share Posted September 14, 2020 As part of an argument its far from irrelevant, if Monk can make a good fist of this season then his stock will rise, should he fail and we look like going down then he will be out of a job and he will find it difficult to find a similar post. Future employers will look at his overall record and see that he has had little success. He his off to good start made some decent signings and now has the support of his backroom team. Monk has plenty of critics amongst the fan base and it won't take much for them to start shouting from the rooftops once we hit a bad patch.
