  1. No! Didn't know there was one. Will definitely look out for that next time I'm in the UK.
  2. The Curse of Frankenstein - Hammer horror's first colour fillum. Peter Cushing nailing it as the arrogant hubristic baron. Make up on Christopher Lee charmingly poo. Liked it. 7.5/10.
  3. The Flesh and the Fiends. 1959 film starring Peter Cushing as Dr. Knox, who benefited from Burke and Hare, grave robbers/murderers. Had Donald Pleasence and Billie Whitelaw. Was pretty good. Watched the European cut that added nudity for no good reason. Comedy accents abounded, but generally straddled the line well between comedy and genuine horror. 7/10.
  4. Ah well, fizzed up trying to spoiler tag that. Nevermind.
  5. Yes, they went back “/spoiler” to the stupid island lair model of previous bonds, all for a villain who had 3 scenes in total, and who made the previous puppet master baddies seem remarkably incompetent but despite that it took Bond 4 films to defeat them. More I think about it, 6/10 is being generous
  6. There is only one Matrix film, three Star Wars, etc.
  7. Xmas Bond film = No Time to Die = Excruciatingly mediocre = 6/10
  8. The Fall of the House of Usher. Classic Cornan-Poe-Price match up. Whilst the metaphor of a crumbling house and madness is a bit on the nose, I did enjoy it. Although Vincent Price's bleachy head do was a bit much.

Playing the remastered Spider-Man on ps5. Reyt game. Not played any since GTA V on ps3 6 years ago (work severely limited my leisure time).
  10. News of the World. Hanks western. Ok, villains are one note, but scenery gorgeous and performances fairly good. 7/10

Ditto. fizz me. Now buying ten dollar ps4 games until theres something decent released.
  12. Halloween II (1981): Meh. Has the most understaffed and under utilized hospital in the world. Not as gory as led to believe Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1983). Technically, should be warlocks. Also features a pervy doctor boinking a murderous robot enchanted by Stonehenge. Also killer masks. Quite good.
  13. SAS: Rise of the Black Swan Only saw last 15 mins by accident, but is the cinematic equivalent of rancid donkey ar*eholes.
  14. I just find it hard to believe how crap we were today, not including the penalties.
  15. I have no special insight into football tactics, but, please try and win at opportune times.
