Yes it wasn't pretty but how many teams play pretty in the first game of the season? The team will get more cohesion, players will get to fuller fitness and we hopefully have new recruits coming in too. The season has not been determined by a league cup match away at walsall. It's a cup match anything can and does happen - have a look at Plymouth, Cambridge, Newport, Northampton Banana skin successfully negotiated in my eyes Too many comedians in this thread and others thinking we should win all games 5-0 cos they did it on football manager than take anything constructive from the game cos they want to berate Monk. 7 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
