STARTING LINEUP - Here is how the Owls lineup against West Brom tonight

Recommended Posts

No worries regarding the lineup. We've probably been figured out by now so let's shuffle a bit (sarcasm).

I like the bench, the kids deserve their places there. Keeping Wickham-Rhodes intact is also a plus. I've just lumped a small sum from my betting kitty on Wednesday, pays 4.70:1 for a win while WBA has 1.80:1.

I really don't understand the reaction on here, Boerner is clearly injured - as we all saw - and for Christ's sake Kieron Lee is held together with sticky tape.

If you like Kieron Lee then you have to want him to be rested, simple.

Tommy Lees, yes, a small surprise, but then he's maybe out of plans. He's hardly been a giant this season, anyway.

Lees has a knock.

Lee can’t play 3 x 90 in 7 days.

Shame Borner is out but it is the quickest back 3 we will ever field.

Reach for Lee is a very positive move rather than Joey for Lee.

Delighted Rhodes-Wickham still together.

Well done Monk. Would have been easy to pack the midfield and leave Wickham as lone-striker.

Im sure it’s a 352.

Moses Iorfa Palmer

Murphy Luongo McSilva Reach Harris

Rhodes Wickham

Looking forward to it.

Lee is on the bench.  Therefore Monk has dropped him.  If he’s injured, he shouldn’t be in the squad.

That would be worst.  When has Reach ever played well in the No. 10 role?

Probably tonight without a crowd getting on his back

Hopefully thats the reason, but wouldn't have thought Reach would be his natural replacement.

Not alot of choice at min mate squad is looking thin

He hasn't been dropped though as he. He's been rested, which as a senior player is likely anyway, and given his recent injuries is just plain not being thick as poo

Interesting that a youth is ahead of Van Aken in the pecking order

According to a thread on this subject a few days ago, neither he nor Penney will be eligible to play this season because the club they were loaned to completed it's own league season.

I would have started Lee then bring on Reach later in the game, or see if he could play it in full.

I would of liked him to play myself but need to minimise risk of injury i suppose with all games coming up .evrry team will need to do it
