Lee is on the bench.  Therefore Monk has dropped him.  If he’s injured, he shouldn’t be in the squad.

That would be worst.  When has Reach ever played well in the No. 10 role?

Tbf though its Kieran Lee. Monk clearly thinks he's not at 100% but can contribute from the bench. We need him anyway as we literally just have kids if not.

I would guess Monk is resting Lee, with so many games in such a short time he has to.

There may be trouble ahead.

Odabajo is awful at full back so we play him at Centre back then don't play the captain whose a centre back.

I will never understand Gary Monk. If it works great,if we take a pasting them no excuse plan and simple this team selection is on one man.

Nope

He's rested him

Good sensible management

It’s really not that difficult to understand,he’s been injured and not played for a long time yet some expect him to play 3 matches in 7 days. Good management to not overdo things with him ( a la Carlos ) !

so what do we think:

                                 Wildsmith

        Odubajo               Iorfa           Palmer

Murphy                                                     Harris

              Luongo       Bannan       Reach

                   Wickham            Rhodes

Defensively looks atrocious. Decent energy in the middle but lee has more bite and quality (on the ball) than reach.

I think it more of a case West Brom or Swansea who are we more likely to beat with him in the team.

A few days ago? I'm presuming today or yesterday then. Or maybe the day before that. Depends on your definition of 'a few'.
