sexpistol
I remember first hearing Roland was going to leave early that season. IIRC he initially wanted to leave around the Christmas period, but was convinced to stay until the end of the season. I remember telling people that he would be leaving and no one believed me, then the news broke. It was a sad day when Roland left. Arguably the best player in modern times to play for SWFC. Errol Flashman
That was one of me saddest days. As an emotional teenager it felt like the family was losing someone. Just a bloke. Being dragged along in a world that moves too quick for it's own good.

matthefish2002
Think it was something like 3 years between his leaving Wednesday and joining Coventry but was still disappointed. Probably wanted one last go in England for financial reasons.
