Are you even a fan?

"Critique them on here, facebook, praise or grumble, your friends and family all you like. Once you start doing it at Hillsborough while they're actually playing you're being an absolute nuisance and doing no good."

This is what you said in your opening post Ellis. You're basically saying that once we get through the turn style all our opinions should be positive which is kind of ridiculous.

Will you go back and read the O/P, the questions you're asking me are not at all relevant to the points I made. I have not said it any shape, way or form that fans cannot have an opinion.

No but your comments that you made to me implied, that by voicing my opinion I was an “anti style fan”.

I literally wrote in there it's fine to voice your options of the club just not in such a negative way while they're still playing as that can only serve to make the performance worse

If you boo a young keeper after he's made a mistake?

Or you sing about not being fit to wear the shirt to the team?

Or you say you want us to lose the next match if that gets us rid of monk, or that relegation would be a good thing so we can have a clear out?

Whatever goes on at the club there is still a team on the pitch we should be wanting to win as fans of, and as supporters we can help them do that by actually supporting them and not trying to wreck their confidence.

The team is clearly devoid of confidence, why are a section of fans trying to make it worse?

If you are vocally abusing the team you are hindering us. If you are like this please just leave the game and think about going to watch Man City/Barcelona/Sheffield Steelers/United and view Wednesday from afar until we reach a level you're happy with because you're a man child glory supporting fickle fan who expects to see winning football.

We can get rid of any bad eggs at the club in future but right now we need to get the best out of all players including the bad eggs or it is not looking good for us.

Totally agree.. I’m angry as hell with the whole situation at S6 but believe in supporting the team on the pitch.

Even when Lees and Pelupessy play I can’t see the point of verbally abusing them

What the players have to realise is..The self same folk will be clapping them off and cheering should they actually play better and win...Its the way it works, its the way its always worked.

You can't clap that mess yesterday...you would look a total f.ookin' idiot.

I didn't boo them off, nor boo the Dawson stuff...I f.ookin' screamed at Iorfa as for the third time in succession he fouled a bloke going nowhere...

Its soul destroying to watch, the teams recent implosion has sod all to do with fans...

We are in a rare and unusual situation.

Any club is made up of:

- fans

- players

- manager and coaching staff

- chairman/owner

For any club to be successful you need at least two, maybe three of these factors to be aligned. Any club that is very successful will have all four aligned.

Can we honestly say we have one of these things in order?

Fans: divided as much as I’ve ever seen. Some are wanting Carlos back. Some want Chansiri to leave. Some think Chansiri is our saviour. Fans are fighting in the stands. Fans are arguing online. Fans have turned on the team.

Players: it’s clear as day that a sizeable chunk of the team don’t want to be here. We have a mix of older pros who are setting a bad example (according to rumours), a few younger players who don’t have the talent and/or experience and then some loan players who just want some game time.

Manager: Monk has gambled and lost. He has hung players out to dry to force a reaction. He has got one, but not the one he hoped for. He is the definition of dead man walking.

Chairman/Owner: appears to have lost interest. Has the image of a beaten man who has gambled and lost.

We are far beyond simply backing the team. The club as a whole is fighting for its future.  We are alienating fans and our reputation within football is in tatters.

We need to stop sniping at each other and come up with an organised effort to ensure the survival of the club over the next 1-5 years. If you think things are bad now, wait and see what happens if DC throws the towel in completely and we are unable to pay players and fulfil fixtures. A few years ago Bolton were playing Bayern in Europe. Look what happened there. Look at Coventry. Look at FA Cup Winners Portsmouth.

This is more than just a bad run of form. Our chickens have well and truly come home to roost.

Keep on clapping..everything’s ok.

We need a pitch invasion and sit down protest to get some action in this club.

The last 20 odd years, apart from when CC got some feel good factor going, has been dire.

Emotions have changed from disappointed, angry, dejection,  embarrassed, and now indifference.

I feel a lot of fans are at the stage of doing something else on match days and withdrawing altogether.

It’s a slow death.  People say that’s how football works, it’s cyclical. Not today it isn’t; it’s a business that needs strategy and organising.

Go ahead and organise a protest then?

Agreed, but it’s our club, our badge, our shirt. All footballers and managers are journeymen.. we the supporters, are the only constant and so if it helps (?) I believe we have to be supportive of whoever wears the shirt

Thats what the booing is...its a protest...and funnily enough the only bloody recourse fans have got since Chansiri took the club lock stock and barrel.

Do you honestly think meek acceptance is the way forward?

I never said it was and didnt say a protest would be wrong.

But if someone says there should be one Im suggesting maybe organise one. Granted it never has taken off here but worth a try.

tbh if there was a league for shyte at running a football club over the last 60 years, where do you think we'd be, and how many and who'd be above us?

Don't really think a protest is the right way forward

Im pretty sure the Chairman is as pee'd off as the rest of us

It seems that people are voting with their feet, given the reported season ticket sales. And the Chairman will also have a true picture of exactly how many people are coming through the turnstiles too.

Thats more likely to have an effect than any protest - and certainly when the target of any protest is on the rides in Japan.

Moaning on a forum is a great outlet for frustrated fans. People shouldnt take it personally, especially those who think the Chairman is doing a good job.
