wattowl
Yep. Think we ought to make sure we have a replacement before considering. He didn’t want a loan by all accounts.

McRightSide
No point letting him go on loan, it’s effectively a free transfer. They have cash in the bank and should make us an offer if they want to buy him. 750k should do it

airborne_rat_of_s6
He’d get lynched by the six fingered masses after his exit from there. Happy to see him go back though. If we could get something for him then that would be a plus. Strange signing given the number of strikers we had at the time.

They voted him in their team of the decade last week, short memories. They’d have him back in a flash

Mr Farrell
He was a very saleable asset, with the potential for a decent profit when we signed him. Why are we always the club that keeps them until they become worthless ?

For those 12 months we really did lose the plot in the transfer market. That said Winall was a bargain, then we ruined him.
FinnishOwl
It would be interesting to know whether he had been sold to Derby without that knee injury. We would have made a very nice profit right then and there. Edited January 8, 2020 by FinnishOwl

Are you talking about Gboly Ariyibi? The guy moved to Forest from Chesterfield and didn't play in over 2 years. He then went on loan to MK and a couple of clubs in Scotland. Then again, he sounds like our type of singing judging by his history...... #WelcomeGboly Edited January 8, 2020 by Guest
matthefish2002
A player brought which for several reasons has not worked out. His wages must be a lot more then the Barnsley wage structure so might have to let him go on a free and a golden handshake if he were to leave this month.
