Time to balance the books. Indeed. The whole stadium rejig has given us a short term fix...but the only way we make good of it is by learning from the mistakes of the past. Time to adopt a more pragmatic, long term approach. Yes, promotion should always be the aim, but not at the expense of the club going forward. Buy and sell players at the right time. It's better timing than last season, as it was lifted just before the Brentford away game in August; two games in. At least we've got a week to strengthen this time, and may have already lined these deals up - Hector? Didn’t announce when we went into embargo, haven’t announced coming out of it. Perhaps it’s not as cut and dried as The Star are making out.
