WindygrOWLer
It's almost like someone went out of their way to ensure there was a video of the players clapping the supporters.....

lanzaroteowl
Winning or losing friendlies matters little especially early on. But performance or lack of it in the last home friendly can be a big indicator of the start of the season to come. Think the Rangers friendly of last year. Its pretty obvious to me, being a happy clapper, that there is no effort whatsoever being put into the clapping by the players. Total disrespect shown to fans, even the ones who didn't travel to the game. With that in mind I demand a free lifetime season ticket and Mr Chansiri to pay my mortgage off as recompense. If I don't get these things I'll write to the Sheffield Star.

Decent as a caretaker but not a manager.I'm sorry to say it because he's a nice guy.

I think he provides too vital a role in being a member of the team who helps bring a continuity to an ever changing club. My choice would be (at a push from that list) Stendel. However...I keep reading that Bullen can't be a manager and I'm interested to know how people know this as an absolute fact? It's not his Freindly record as we know they don't count. It can't be his caretaker managing skills as most people say he's ok as one of those...and his 37.% win rate would seem to back them up on that. So I just don't know what the absolite certainty is based on.

So I just don't know what the absolite certainty is based on. For me it's his reaction when he was caretaker and things went wrong. He didn't know what to do. He would probably have a better idea now but that sticks in my mind. A manager needs to be able to get it sorted, they all have different methods that work for them but one way or another they have to take the stick for the team and provide a lead behind the dressing room door. The other worry is that he doesn't have the right contacts. He was a lower league player and hasn't coached anywhere but here. Most successful managers have networked and can get a favour from old friends when need be. They can get managers at bigger clubs to take their calls. Lastly I don't want to lose Lee, if he becomes manager and fails like nearly all do he would have to leave, a new manager wouldn't want him around. I like the guy, he's like a stick of Blackpool rock with Wednesday going all the way through. I want him here as long as he wants to be here. If he does get the job I'll back him as I hope all the fans will. I hope he proves me wrong.
