It's more than likely we will end up with a typical merry-go-round name, due to the timing, close to the season. But wish we would show some ambition or forward thinking, even if it means dragging on close or into the season. There's a good reason, most of the typical names and the names supposedly in the running are avoided. I'd just like us to go for someone younger or on the rise, rather than someone on the decline or settling for a yesterday's man, who might've been good several years ago. Whoever gets it though, we should give a chance. Just seems likely that we'll end up with a short term garbage appointment, the way it's looking but hopefully not or hopefully they might surprise us. Out of the supposed shortlist, Stendel is the only one that seems forward thinking, yet he might be the least likely has he's already in a job. Just would rather us go for someone on the rise like that or a high profile coach or out of work high profile foreigner, just someone to generate some excitement.
