Shouldn't have took him off. Bad move from Bruce. FF was buzzing, full of life and holding ball up well.. When he went off we were sitting back.  As for Joao...

I think Bruce was protecting him, he’s been put a long time, and players often pick up little niggles when they’ve been out such a long time

Good management by Bruce

Just a bloke, who used up all his luck in one go when he met his wife.

You see...

That guy is probably the best player in the division.

Unbelievable performance and goal.

Best players in the division do it every week.

We know what we get with FF now. A fantastic player when he’s on it but at 30 years old, we don’t see that often enough.

Not getting ahead of myself with his performance yesterday.

Clearly doesn't give a fu*k about us. Post match interview telling sky hes happy for norwich after theyve just scored a last minute equaliser.

He was taking mick out of em mate, saying how best team in league needed a lucky goal to get a point.

Both of  you made the same point I was.

The bloke who performed last night is as good as anything in the division.

Problem is we don't see that guy enough.

Always maintained Watford had him sussed out. Why they let him go.

A very exciting but frustrating footballer. A pleasure to watch when he performs though, worth the price of the ticket at times.

I'd agree.

He has had a nomadic existence.

If there's one manager who can get him firing though, it's Bruce.

Has one more year on his deal, so I'd suspect he stays.

Puts you in a real dilemma when he has games like that. Unplayable and capable of the sublime.

Just we haven’t seen it near anywhere enough this season.

Don't thinks it's helped that he hasn't been put in his best position for 2 years either.

If they don't decide to cash in I'm pretty sure Bruce will have seen last night and realised what we supporters have known for a long time.

is he showing in the 'shop window'?

Rules number 342 of being a Sheffield Wednesday fan:

When any player puts in a good performance, particularly around January, April/May time, he is only doing so to put himself in the shop window or to earn a new contract.

he's wanted away before, do you think it's not possible again?

I imagine all players wanting to stay at a club put in their best when contracts are due, but you'd be better asking nuhiu over that than me.

Who knows.

Just accept it for what it is.

If we benefit from it, then great.
