Brentford at home : prices

Recommended Posts

Really good sensible prices. Would like to see all remains games, including United at this price. But only if we could charge the dirty scrubbers £70 for polluting our ground. Seriously though as they will only bring 2000, why not price it at £20 and try and get 3/4s of the ground full.

Those  should be the prices for EVERY  game.

Twenty is plenty

If parachute payments were abolished prices would be around that across the board in the football league. Until this happens everyone has to charge extortionate prices to try and get near them

There’s an element of truth to this.  Parachute payments and Sky’s money has f*cked up the games finances.  No debate about that.

But let’s not forgot, in the words of the chairman, “Your money doesn’t cover anything” - so if that’s the case, and revenue generated from ticket sales is just a drop in the ocean, why are Wednesday fans paying the highest ticket prices in the division?

No one expects fans to be let in for free.  But at least reduce prices so we are ‘only’ being ripped off to the same extent as most other club’s fans are.

Course the opposition matters..Do you think 6000 would have ploughed down to London the other Sunday if we had been playing Wimbledon...?

The fans who can't afford to attend most of the matches are thrown tidbits, and they know it...Thats why for the most part they don't accept it it..Cos they know come the week after, they will get sod all,,,

All POTG is an ill thought out train wreck

Flip it round and if Leeds and United games were £20 i bet the ones who cannot afford it would find a way. If the next 2 matches after that were Bolton and Wigan at £20 i bet they wouldn't come.

The club has to think about the maximum revenue it can get and not individual circumstances hence Leeds and United will be full price.

From swfc twitter:

Our home fixture v Brentford (26 Feb) is Category G, meaning adult ticket prices are £20 in all stands..

Good news for non ST holders,  should put at few on the gate...

We will see if the theory of pricing is right or not.

Highest attendance of the season (by 3000) was our last Category G game. Not a local derby

Wind your necks in. Point proven

Good idea on first thoughts however it’s a Tuesday night on the red button the week before the pigs game so ain’t going to sell many.

Should have done it for the Reading game instead, could have added a couple of thousand onto the gate to welcome Mr Bruce to Hillsborough.

All the real fans have season tickets anyway. Plus all the part timers will not bother coming as it's midweek and too cold.

Im a ST holder , but im no different to  pay on the day fans. Im lucky i can afford a ST , a lot of fans cant because of the rip off prices of our season tickets, but they are also priced out of paying on the day because of rip off matchday prices. Am i more of a fan than them  ? No , we are all wednesday fans, we are all ripped of with tickets.

20 quid is a decent offer and should have been same V Reading.

Why are people just wanting to fight?

Go and pay or don't or fuckoff and shut up and stop crying constantly - both "sides".

It's our team, support 'em however and stop screaming like babies at each other over stuff.  Getting boring.  Folk just liking to feyt - crack one off and have a kebab.
