Jon Newsome Posted September 22, 2018 Share Posted September 22, 2018 Shame for him that he's not got the clean sheets, you could have 10 keepers in net they aren't saving that today. Overall for an inexperienced young kid he's done well in the hardest position to play in football, he's kept us in certain games and made some good saves today. Usually you'd loan him out for a season but he's learning on the job. Don't get me wrong Westwood is the best keeper I've seen at Wednesday in my lifetime, but clearly something has happened behind the scenes so let's just get behind our two young keepers. He's played about 20 league games and I feel comfortable with him in goal, his handling improving game by game, just needs to be more decisive coming off his line.
