100%.

Telling people not to go, just for having the opinion that they'd prefer more reasonable prices is pretty sad.

It's literally the only option though.  If you go you justify the pricing, if you don't you oppose it (even if only because you are forced to).

Everyone would prefer lower pricing, that's a given.  I'd prefer petrol to be cheaper and holidays to cost less too.  Oh and a 50% pay rise.  But then again I live in the real world, where everything gets more expensive.

Just not bothered...

I want young hirsty to stay and be a superstar with us

Not someone like Southampton etc

Totally.

Young homegrown strikers with huge potential come along once in 20 years if you are lucky.

We have one that is already International class for his age, with ties to a former legend. One of our own.

If we have any chance of rescuing the situation (a fizz up we have contributed to), we should be moving heaven an earth to make it happen.

If it turns out this is all down to the Chairmans pride and arrogance, I'll be furious.

Wonder what would happen IF a central body like the FA set the prices as standard for every club

e.g. it's £25 for every club each game in any seat and no more no less, apart from away fans who are £20

Under 23's get in for a quid a game

Sorted

Season ticket on the North equals just over £24 a game, good view and what I consider to be a bargain to watch the team I support.

All well worn and well used by the usual suspects.

Different clubs have different intentions...

We recently had a survey where fans voted to pay in order for better players.

So I guess the tickets are priced based on what the fans want.

Worked well this season.

Rather vote for the Chairman and his buddy not to spunk the money up wall and have us battling relegation.

It's like anything though surely, if you can't afford it you don't buy it.  I got fed up of paying for Sky, so I stopped.  Did I tell everyone who would listen how ridiculous their pricing strategy is and that it's a disgrace and that Murdoch has no idea how to run a TV company.  No, I just stopped paying.

You were a customer of Sky though, not a supporter. There is an unsaid implication there.

Why can't he have a bellyache?

If you're happy with the prices.. fair enough...he isn't.

FFS.

It isn't about being happy with the prices though.  And he can have a bellyache.  But it will serve to do precisely nothing.

But equally why can't I bellyache at people who are bellyaching?

FFS.

When have you EVER gone to Sheffield Wednesday and not been a customer?  At what point have you been gifted tickets?

Whether you like it or not, ultimately you are a customer.  You may have a brand loyalty beyond any other industry.  But you are a customer.

Just not bothered...
