ScrappyOwl
Would certainly prefer stripes for home kit but quite frankly as long as the team performs on the pitch it doesn't really matter as far as I am concerned. Put it this way, we could have the best kit in the world that we all like, but if the team is crap,it doesn't really mean a great deal. So if our chairman does not like stripes for whatever reason ,but provides the finances to improve the ground and the team and we get to where we all want to be then that is good enough for me. Ultimately its the performances on the pitch that will make us proud Owls.
Past Member
Not bothered about the away (as long as not red) The home shirt just confirms that Chansiri is an arrogant tool, as half of the local business sponsors have found.

What a disgusting way to talk about the man who's done more to move our club forward in the past two and a half years than various others managed in the best part of two decades. We get that you're part of the minority on here who dislike the new home kit, but there's no need to resort to insults, is there?

A change of our historical kit & a doubling of the match day prices. A big price to pay, for being 10 places up the league.

Also, as much as pay-on-the-day ticket prices are ridiculous, I was paying £32 or £29 to watch games before Chansiri took over; as far as I'm aware we don't have a £64 ticket quite yet! It's supposed to be a 150th year anniversary kit. It's more of an "I'm the chairman so fvcckk you! I make the decisions" kit. Mr C isn't the god of SWFC. He's done a great deal of good for our club but he's digging his heels in over this kit which, in my opinion, is not great on his part. He is all about building a brand - we won't see stripes again while he's chairman in my opinion and, if that was the case, it would be a very sad state of affairs. We we should have another poll; not to ask if people like the new kit but whether they'd prefer striped shirts. My guess is that most of the fans would. Id prefer stripes but this is a really nice kit and it's blue and white . When the team walked out to the same style training tops last year it looked spot on . Don't worry the stripes will be back ! Homer
I've put I like the Home shirt but I would love it if it had stripes or hoops for our 150th yr . But seeing that Mr Chansiri doesn't want or like stripes then I guess it's the best we can hope for . The supporters should have a voice in the design after all it's the supporters who buy & wear the shirt .

Prob gonna pass on the home one, it's OK, but I figure not buying it is the best way to get stripes back. This 100%.

People talk about the worst shirts in our history - that one Hirsty is wearing and the 2005 think with a thick blue stripe (wrong colour blue annaul!) are the worst I've ever seen - and by some distance! Inspector Lestrade
If 44% do buy the shirt if the poll reflects the whole of the Wednesday support will that count as a success?
