dumboldowl
If the developers built the new property on stilts it would protect said property from the floodplain around Hillsborough. It would also enable the lower level to continue to be used as a carpark. A win-win situation surely.
Claudio Tankisco
Given the proximity of the car park to the ground (i.e. Next door) I think £7 is excellent value.

Flat Owl
Complaining about a parking fee of 7 quid right across the road that goes to good causes and is run by volunteers...dear me. Its not compulsory FFS.
oldtawnyowl
How many of the people indignantly crying rip off actually use the Wednesdayite car park? Very few or none I'll bet. I have used this car park since it first started and as a season permit holder have no objection at all to donating to this deserving charity. Well done Wednesdayite!!!. I asked how much of the fee was going to "charity" I'm yet to hear. £7 for scrubland parking is not Sheffield prices
owls-swfc
Was working away in Leicester about 5 years ago - and went down M1 to see MK. dons v owls in midweek match after work (just me in car - no shared fuel /parking fee) was gutted that had to park for about £8 in a quagmire of mud in their official car park ..F.. kin disgrace even then, no parking lanes, uneven ground - don't know what price it is now.. God forbid if even tarmacked. #Stillangrymad! Edited May 15, 2017 by owls-swfc

Judging from your posts on this subject I don't suppose that You will be using the car park, so why would you be concerned how much goes to the charity? Cant see the problem with £7 really.
marcx666
I dont see the problem, its the going rate for close to ground parking, and if you think it is too expensive, you dont park there and therefore dont pay it. Really not sure what the issue is

Greenhgate Owl
it was 12£ last season to park in the Swansea car park ,massive uproar got I knocked down to £7.50 £7 isn't bad no chance of a parking fine and your car will be safe and secure They should do a season ticket £100 for a years worth of parking

sonofbert2
It would not bother me one bit paying 7 quid to be so close to the ground and knowing that my money was going towards Grandad's Executive Box at Rotherham.
